"Our Business Breakfast Summits are an essential part of our continuing commitment to building strong partnerships with businesses and helping them connect with each other," said Christine Guhl-Sadovy, President of the NJBPU. "The Summits empower businesses and organizations to take full advantage of available programs and resources to help reduce energy costs, invest in their business, and drive ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's economy forward. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with the NJBPU and other partners at our first Summit of 2026 on March 20."

When businesses invest in energy efficiency, the benefits extend well beyond their own bottom line. By reducing overall energy demand, participating businesses help ease strain on the electric grid — which can lower wholesale electricity costs and, in turn, reduce energy bills for all ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ ratepayers.

Through ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's Clean Energy Program, businesses that upgrade lighting, HVAC systems, building envelopes, and other energy-consuming equipment not only cut their own operating costs, but contribute to a more affordable and resilient energy system statewide.

The program will feature the following speakers:

  • Welcome Remarks: Dr. Mark McCormick, President, Middlesex College
  • Opening Remarks: Christine Guhl-Sadovy, President, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Board of Public Utilities
  • Keynote Address: Adrian Metcalf, Executive Director, Environment & Sustainability Enablement, and Briana Marvuglio, Vice President, Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability Enablement, Bristol Myers Squibb
  • Featured Speaker: Peter Saharko, Senior Managing Associate General Counsel, Public Policy, Verizon
