TRENTON – Today, the Sherrill-Caldwell transition Action Teams released their final reports, including recommendations to the administration. The Action Teams were led by ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and national experts and included members with diverse and distinguished experience.
“The Sherrill-Caldwell administration is grateful for all the hard work and collaboration that went into these reports, and we are actively reviewing their recommendations – some of which have already been included in Gov. Sherrill’s first executive orders. Our transition brought together leaders from ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ and across the country – and no matter the different perspectives, what united our Action Teams was a commitment to public service and making a difference. The connections and relationships that were built during this process will pay dividends to this Administration for years to come,” said Lt. Gov. Dr. Dale Caldwell and ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Chief Operating Officer Kellie Doucette, who were Chair and Executive Director of the Transition, respectively.
“Governor Sherrill brought our teams together on a mission to deliver for the people of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, and we are proud of the recommendations we developed so the Sherrill-Caldwell administration could hit the ground running. These reports are a product of true collaboration and coming together around Gov. Sherrill’s commitment to lower costs, expand opportunity for our kids, and make Trenton more accountable to the people of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ,” said the Co-Chairs of the Action Teams.
