Proposed Rule Amendments --  Point Assessment regulation, N.J.A.C. 13:19-10.1

The Motor Vehicle Commission has proposed amendments to its Point Assessment regulation, N.J.A.C. 13:19-10.1.  This regulation outlines points assigned for certain motor vehicle violations. The proposed amendment revises the point assessment chart in N.J.A.C. 13:19-10.1 to include newly designated points for prohibited use of a wireless telephone or electronic communication device by an operator of a moving vehicle, as established by P.L. 2013, c. 70.

The Motor Vehicle Commission's regulatory proposal was published in the June 1, 2015 issue of the 吃瓜黑料 Register.  Copies of the proposal may be obtained on the MVC website, www.mvc.gov; by mail or in person from the Motor Vehicle Commission, 225 East State Street, 9th Floor - East Wing, P.O.
