Notice is hereby given that the State of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ intends to enter into a publically advertised cooperative purchasing agreement for Pharmaceuticals and Vaccines.

The State of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ anticipates joining the Minnesota Multistate Contracting Alliance for Pharmacy (MMCAP) contract in the June 2013 timeframe. The State of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ expects to award a contract to Cardinal Health, Inc.

The MMCAP contract has a term of November 30, 2009 through October 31, 2013, with an option for extension through October 31, 2014.

Under N.J.S.A 52:34-6.2, the State of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is authorized to join competitively bid and awarded cooperative purchasing agreements.

Note that the comment period ends with the close of business on June 6, 2013.
