Motor Vehicle Installment Seller


A motor vehicle installment seller license is required if a ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ automobile dealer that is properly licensed as a dealer with the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Motor Vehicle Commission wishes to be authorized to execute retail installment sales contracts with ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ consumers in connection with the sale of new or used vehicles.

The governing statute is the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Retail Installment Sales Act of 1960, N.J.S.A. 17:16C-1. et seq.
