2024 World Elder Abuse Awareness Day Event

June 14 in Ewing Township

The Office of the Attorney General, the Medicaid Fraud Unit, Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor, and the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Elder Protection Task Force honored Certified Volunteer Advocates (CVAs) during a June 14 event to mark World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

CVAs are important members of the team at the Office of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Long-Term Care Ombudsman (LTCO), regularly visiting nursing homes across the state, engaging with the residents, and advocating for their interests.
