NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program

The NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program (CAIGP) is one of Office of the Secretary of Higher Education’s signature initiatives, aligning higher education with labor market needs, building pathways into high-demand industries, and advancing equity in experiential learning.

The ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Office of the Secretary of Higher Education in partnership with the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Department of Labor and Workforce Development has allocated funding to support the NJ Career Accelerator Internship Grant for FY26.

This grant program will provide funding to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ employers who are interested in hosting ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ college students, including those who currently attend or graduated from an in-state college or university in the last 12 months or are ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ residents attending a college out of state for Summer 2026 (June through August). The grant program aims to foster mutually beneficial relationships between ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ's college students and ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ-based employers.

The application to apply for the Career Accelerator Internship Grant Program for Summer 2026 opens on Monday, January 5, 2026. The deadline to apply has been extended to Wednesday, February, 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
