Division of TaxationP.L. 2025, c.111, signed into law on July 22, 2025, authorizes the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) to conduct tax credit auctions for certain housing projects. Awarded tax credits can be applied against ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Corporation Business Tax or Insurance Premiums Tax and may be carried forward for up to seven privilege periods.
The Division of Taxation issues tax credit certificates and manages all assignments and transfers. For questions regarding assignments or transfers, call 609-292-7127.
